WSOP Ladies Champion Up For A Unique Prize Package
The WSOP can perhaps be credited for single handedly making poker as popular as it is today. Thanks to its exciting scenes and table action, people all over the world are getting into poker as they have never done before. In many different countries across the continents, many TV shows have even been started just to catch the attention of countless poker enthusiasts out there (and the potential ones as well).
In any case, here is another bit of exciting news for the ladies. Harrah’s Entertainment recently announced that it is offering a unique prize for the winner of the WSOP Ladies Championship this year. This is a 3-day event with a $1000 buy in. So what is up for grabs?
Of course there is the traditional WSOP gold bracelet and prize money. The bracelet is designed by Corum which is the Official Timepiece of the WSOP. This is no ordinary bracelet – it has 4 black diamonds, 2 rubies, and 84 blue sapphires. Whew! Isn’t that enough to make most women crave for it? On top of this prize, though, this year’s WSOP Ladies Champion will be given a Corum watch – an Admiral’s Cup Competition 40.
It’s not over yet – the winner will receive special treatment from the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks for a home game, a VIP weekend at a Harrah’s-operated casino to attend ‘The New You’ exclusive makeover and lifestyle event, and a stint at “The New You” a women’s brand which has an upcoming TV show with NBC. Not bad, eh?
