Deep stack tournaments on Stars

If you’ve ever been annoyed at the fast tournament structures online that require super aggressive play early in order to play a solid game late in the tournament then PokerStars has what you’ve been waiting for. They have “deep stack” tournaments - each player starts with 5,000 chips, each blind level lasts for 30 minutes. This means you start with a lot of big bets and can wait around for big hands or take some bigger risks with marginal hands - it allows for a lot of different strategies to be effective.
Keep in mind that if you’re planning to play in one of these deep stack tournaments you’ll need to set aside about half a day - I think they take 8 hours or more to be completed. If you’re looking for a tournament experience that simulates a major tournament’s structure, I’d definitely give these tournaments a look.
I am not aware of any other site that offers such a great tournament structure. It really does allow for a lot of play and makes it more likely that the best players will come out on top.
