Like father like son

I just read a good interview with Todd Brunson, a phenominal high-end cash game player making his way back into the tournament scene. Oh yeah, and he’s Doyle’s son. For so long he was only known as Doyle’s son, but now he’s getting the recognition he deserves as one of the top poker players today.

He talks about bets as units and not money amounts and talks about how he got started in poker and why he avoided the tournaments until recently. He talks a little about his father and that relationship and tells some fun poker stories. Check it out.

If you haven’t seen him in the recently aired Poker Superstars Invitational II keep your eyes open. He won a braclet in the $2,500 Omaha hi/lo event at this years WSOP and he made two other final table appearances taking home a cool $400,000 in prizes.
